Memo2Text uses modern AI technology for transcription and summarization:

• Transcription (Primary): Own Whisper infrastructure on Hetzner servers in Germany
• Transcription (Fallback): Microsoft Azure Whisper (Sweden/Norway, EU)
• AI Processing: Microsoft Azure OpenAI GPT-4.1 (Sweden/Norway, EU)

The technology is based on machine learning methods and has the following characteristics:

• Very powerful and time-saving
• Not error-free or perfect
• Prone to fluctuations in accuracy and reliability

2. Possible AI Errors

AI-generated results may have the following issues:

• Factually incorrect
• Incomplete
• Contradictory
• Misleading
• Nonsensical

3. No Guarantee or Warranty

We provide no guarantee for:

• Correctness of AI results
• Completeness of information
• Suitability for specific purposes
• Fitness for important decisions

The results do not replace professional advice or human expertise.

4. Use at Your Own Responsibility

You use Memo2Text voluntarily and at your own risk:

• Critically review all results
• Make decisions independently
• Accept that AI can be flawed
• Consult experts for important decisions

We are not liable for damages resulting from the use of AI results:

• Economic damages (e.g., lost profits)
• Consequential damages (e.g., missed appointments due to incorrect to-dos)
• Reputational damages
• Contractual penalties
• Data loss (except in case of intent or gross negligence)

Exception: Intentional or grossly negligent damages (see Terms Section 5).

7. Liability for Technical Disruptions

We are not liable for damages caused by:

• Server outages or maintenance
• Errors at third-party providers (Hetzner, Microsoft Azure OpenAI, WhatsApp, Stripe, Hostinger)
• Internet connection problems
• Processing delays
• Data loss due to technical defects

Only statutory liability per Terms Section 5 applies.

To use Memo2Text safely:

• Read transcripts carefully
• Compare with original voice message
• Question to-dos and summaries
• Use your own common sense
• Consult experts when something is unclear
